Hello Racers and Cruisers!
Snidely is well on his way in securing the electoral college in 2012! He has created an ISR committee to oversee all sailing and nautical progress on the Columbia river as well as all our nation's navigational waterways. While his campaign is ramping up across our nation, the ISR committee will send out top secret instructions on how to conduct the weekly operations of ISR. These instructions are based on Snidely's vision of our future! Only YOU can make this series a success!
Please read the NOR below to understand the series that has been laid out for us! To secure your celbrity RC spot and a chance to hang out with Snidely himself please visit; http://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/352345634294342057. A RC spot will ensure a first in the race you conduct for the series! Top secret informational packets will be distrubuted to all those interested in racing!
First ISR race will kick off next Sunday 10/23/2011. More information coming up in the begginning of next week!
Thank you and see you out on the water!

NOTICE OF RACE
INVITATION: The ISR committee and CYC extend an invitation to all interested skippers and crew to participate in a “for fun” race series on the Columbia River between the I-5 and I-205 bridges. The ISR committee (an informal group of us racers that want to keep this great event going) will be running this series for the 2011-2012 season. CYC will be sanctioning this event for the 2012 portion of the year.
BACKGROUND: The ISR series or “International Sailing Regatta” has been run by Terry Johnson “Snidely Marks” the last two years and was sanctioned by SYSCO for the 2010-2011 season. Snidely’s imagination combined with his talent for writing, created a winter time racing culture filled with great racing and satirical humor. Because of his efforts we have an opportunity to work together and keep this event alive. Snidely has stepped down from his position of running the ISR to run for President of the United States. Snidely has appointed a few trusted souls to run his operations on the river, thus the ISR committee was formed. The ISR committee, whose numbers and members are unknown and kept top secret under orders of Snidely himself, control all ISR operations. The ISR committee uses volunteers to do the will of Snidely Marks to maintain the power and clout of the ISR, while Snidely Marks runs his presidential campaign.
