Hello Class Contacts and Friends,

Just wanted to send a reminder that Registration is now open on the Seattle NOOD website at: http://www.sailingworld.com/nood_regatta.jsp?location=2637

Getting your class signed up early will encourage others to join the party; we are hoping to go up from 231 entries last year to over 250 entries in 2009.

A few more boats in each class make this a realistic goal.

We already have commitments from a several new classes this year, Flying Tigers, Etchells 22, J-80’s, foiling Moths and Laser Radials.

Also note:

1. The tent festivities and prize-giving will be at Shilshole in the tent in front of CYC all 3 days this year.

2. The Melges 24’s will move to the Div B (middle) circle in 2009 rather than the North course, and the 6-Meters will move up to the Div A (north) circle.

3. Dinghies will again race only on Sat and Sunday on the Div C (south) course; these sailors are also a good source of fill-in crew for Friday.

Please feel free to forward this email directly to your respective Fleet Contact lists.

Thanks again for all your help to have another successful Seattle NOOD,

Brian Ledbetter
