This past weekend the J24 District 19 Championship was held by J24 Fleet 174 in Sandpoint, ID.  14 boats competed, with 7 traveling in from Montana, Seattle, and Portland.  8 races were held over 2 days, with postponements on shore leading to some nice breeze by the end of the day.  Great job by the all the folks involved in Sandpoint to put on a great event, and for the teams that came to participate.

Additional info and results at http://web.sandpointsailing.com/j24/districtsRecap.html

Will work to post some additional pictures and videos over the next week.

This was also stop #3 on the PNW Championship circuit (following NAs, and Waves), with the 4th and final regatta starting this weekend as part of the Montana Cup at Flathead Lake Montana.

SYSCO/Columbia Crossings Regatta on 8/14 - Please Register Early

7/02/2010 09:24:00 PM, Posted by Test, No Comment

If you plan on racing in the SYSCO/Columbia Crossings Regatta on 8/14, please register early.  The usual suspect at SYSCO Race Central will be away, so all the work will fall on the shoulders of a woefully under-paid but very cheerful temp. staff at SRC.

Some early birds have already responded to the call…Thank You!

In order for races to count for points, there must be 3 or more qualified boats in an OD, Level, and/or PHRF Fleet as well as the A1 and/or A2 Class and Cruising F and/or Cruising S Class.

Aloha,

The Usual Suspect @ SYSCO Race Central
