With North Americans coming in May next year Eric Sanderson in Seattle is working on importing some J/24 masts, booms and carbon fiber spinnaker poles from Sparloft in New Zealand. Sparloft supplies J/24 spars around world and enjoy an excellent reputation.
Eric will be able to land them on the west coast, either Seattle or Vancouver, BC, for a decent discount from what can be obtained domestically from the East Coast.
The last shipment came in about $3500 for a mast only. Mast and boom about $4250. Right now he might be able to share a container directly to Seattle which would be the most efficient in terms of time and money.
On offer are masts, booms and spinnaker poles (both double taper aluminum and straight tube carbon).
Email Eric for more information or captain@fleet27.com if you do not have his contact details.
